Appointment of Thangarajah Thangamany as Managing Director

We thank our clients for their overwhelming support over the past few months. FortisCor is delighted to announce the appointment of Thangarajah Thangamany as Managing Director effective 2 September 2021.

Thanga began his loss adjusting journey in 1997 and about three years later, he joined the largest international adjusting firm in Malaysia. In 2006, he become the youngest Chartered Loss Adjuster in the world. He was awarded an Associateship with the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (ACILA) and was later elevated to a Fellow (FCILA). He is also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). Thanga has more than 24 years of experience in handling large and complex claims involving almost all classes of insurance across various countries in Asia. He was also involved in managing the massive ‘Johor Flood’ catastrophe losses in Malaysia.

In 2008, Thanga joined Insight Adjusters & Surveyors Pte Ltd and led a team of adjusters, many of whom have since become highly respected claims professionals in their own rights. After Insight was acquired by an international claims company in March 2019, Thanga was appointed as their Chief Operating Officer. He spearheaded the Property & Casualty, Construction & Engineering and Third Party Administration (TPA) divisions and was responsible for training, technical and overall management of the entire team of professional adjusters and support staff.

Thanga is determined to lead FortisCor to greater heights with his vast experience and technical skills and at the same time, provide confidence to our clients.
