FortisCor Adjusters Pte Ltd and/or its subsidiaries and/or other members of its group (“FortisCor” “we” or “us”) takes the privacy and protection of your Personal Data very seriously. Sources of the information we collect
We collect personal information from you directly when you voluntarily provide it to us, for instance if you submit claim details to be considered for your claim.
We also collect your personal information from a variety of sources:
• From your insurance companies that we work with.
• From your insurance brokers or other intermediaries
• From third party claims handlers who are involved in a claim or assist us in investigating or processing claims, including witnesses and external claims data collectors and verifiers
• From individuals that you may be associated with (e.g. joint account holders, company employees or directors, family members, etc.)
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Your information will be used solely for the purposes outlined above. Where necessary, we may share your information with:
• Our employees or officers who are involved in processing the claim.
• Insurance companies, cover-holders, intermediaries, financial institutions and retrocessionaires that use your personal information in connection with the provision of insurance and processing of claims. For example, we may share your personal information with other reinsurance businesses for the purposes of settling claims.
• Third-party service providers assisting with the administration or investigation of the claim
• Relevant authorities, regulatory bodies, or legal advisors (as required by law)

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. Your data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the claim process and comply with legal requirements.
